A postdoctoral fellow position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Harald Jueppner in the Endocrine Unit at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). MGH is a Harvard Medical School (HMS)-affiliated hospital. This is a full-time position with an affiliated Research Fellow appointment proposed at Harvard Medical School (HMS). This position is contingent upon successful credentialing by the MGH Registrar/Credentialing Unit.
A postdoctoral position is available in the Rhee laboratory in the Nephrology Division/Endocrine Unit at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School. Our laboratory is interested in several aspects of kidney metabolism, with the goal to understand how alterations in energy metabolism contribute to kidney disease pathogenesis and its complications. The specific project for the advertised position will seek to characterize novel functional role(s) for circulating factors derived from the kidney. Studies will include cellular and animal models, as well as translational studies using clinical samples. The fellow will work both at the MGH as well as have access to and receive training on advanced LC-MS based metabolomics approaches at the Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT.
