Objectives:
- Discuss an interesting case of low bone density and bone loss in a patient undergoing lung transplantation
- Review the prevalence, risk factors, and clinical significance of bone loss and osteoporosis after solid organ transplant
- Review the current evidence in prevention and treatment of post-transplantation osteoporosis
