GENERAL SUMMARY/ OVERVIEW STATEMENT:
A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Tatsuya Kobayashi in the Endocrine Unit at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). MGH is a Harvard Medical School (HMS)-affiliated hospital. This is a full-time position with an affiliated Research Fellow appointment proposed at Harvard Medical School (HMS), contingent upon successful credentialing by the Mass General Brigham Centralized Credentialing Office. This position is funded through Spring of 2022 with potential extention.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct cell-based experiments using mouse primary cells aiming to establish systems to generate/isolate and culture long-term osteoprogenitor cells.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- PhD and/or MD required
- The candidate must have experience in molecular and cell biology experiments.
- The candidate should be able to design, conduct, interpret results, and work independently.
- No direct patient contact.
- Some work with mice.
- Work hours flexible and generally conducted over a forty-hour workweek.
